Connecticut Lemon Laws – Connecticut offers a rare lemon law in that it not only covers passenger vehicles, but also commercial motor vehicles sold or leased within the state. This lemon law excludes agricultural tractors however. Section 42-179 allows for 4 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service. But only allows for 2 repair attempts if the defect is a serious safety hazard. 2 years or 18,000 miles is the time frame, whichever comes first.
