Florida Lemon Laws – Florida lemon laws cover vehicles sold, transferred or leased, in Florida, and can only have been used for personal, family or household reasons. Off-road vehicles, mopeds, trucks over 10,000 lbs., the living facilities of recreation vehicles, and motorcycles are not covered under this lemon law. Part 3 of section 681.104 states that 3 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service must happen before it is considered a lemon, and must be reported 18 months or before 24,000 miles, whichever comes first.
