Idaho Lemon Laws – According to Idaho lemon laws, only new motor vehicles used for personal, family or household purposes are covered. They must have been sold or licensed in Idaho, excluding motorcycles, farm tractors, house trailers or any motor vehicle over 12,000 pounds. Section 48-902 allows for 4 repair attempts or 30 business days out of service before the vehicle can be called a lemon. The buyer has 2 years or 24,000 miles to file suit.
