Indiana Lemon Laws – The vehicle must be sold and registered in Indiana are eligible as a lemon. The vehicle must be less than 10,000 pounds and be intended primarily for use and operation on public highways. Conversion vans, motor homes, farm tractors, road building equipment, truck tractors, road tractors, motorcycles, mopeds, snowmobiles or vehicles designed primarily for off-road use and not covered under lemon laws as stated in section IC24-5-13-5. 4 repair attempts or 30 days out of service must happen before one can make a lemon case and they have 18 months or 18,000 miles (whichever comes first) to do so.
