Lemon Laws

Kansas

Kansas Lemon Laws – Kansas lemon law only states that the vehicle must weigh less than 12,000 pounds and that it be sold and registered in the state. The state requires that 4 repair attempts (or 10 repair attempts for different defects) be performed before it can be issued as a lemon. 30 calendar days out of service will also allow it to be classified as a lemon. The car must be determined to be a lemon within 1 year or before the year-long or less warranty period expires, whichever comes first.
