Minnesota Lemon Laws - Passenger automobiles, pickup trucks, vans and recreational equipment are covered under this law assuming they were sold or leased to a consumer in Minnesota. The vehicle must be used at least 40% for personal, family or household purposes. After 1 unsuccessful repair of a completely failed braking or steering system (Assuming it was likely to cause death or substantial bodily injury) the car can be classified as a lemon. The law also allows for 4 attempts or 30 business days out of service for other defects.
