Montana Lemon Laws – Montana allows vehicles sold in this state, including the non-residential portion of a motor home (section 61-4-501) to be covered under their lemon laws. However, trucks over 10,000 pounds and motorcycles are not covered. After 2 years or 18,000 miles (whichever comes first) it is too late for the vehicle owner to make a lemon law case against the dealer.
