New Mexico Lemon Laws – A vehicle in New Mexico can only be classified as a lemon is it was bought or leased in that state, is less than 10,000 pounds, and is used for personal or family purposes. Motorcycles are covered. Before a year or the warranty has expired (whichever comes first) an owner must have had 4 repair attempts on their vehicle, or 30 business days out of service.
