Rhode Island Lemon Laws – RVs and campers are not covered under Rhode Island lemon laws, but any automobile, truck, or van under 10,000 pounds is covered. The vehicle owner has 1 year, or 15,000 miles (whichever occurs first) to file suit. After 4 repair attempts, or 30 calendar days out of service, the vehicle is eligible for lemon status under Rhode Island law.
