Lemon Laws

Virginia Lemon Laws – Virginia lemon laws say in section 59.1-207.11 that a vehicle owner has 18 months to make a lemon law case with the dealer. The vehicle can be a passenger car, pickup, panel trucks, and motorcycles so long as they are used for personal or family purposes. After 3 repair attempts or 30 days out of service, the owner can file a lemon law case. They can also do so after one repair attempt on a serious safety defect.
