Wisconsin Lemon Laws - Vehicles, registered (or transferred) in Wisconsin are eligible to be covered under the state’s lemon laws, even non-resident and foreign registered vehicles that were purchased, leased or transferred in Wisconsin. Exceptions are mopeds and semi-trailers. Section 218.015(1)(h)2 allows for 4 repair attempts or 30 days out of service, but the lemon law case must be made within one year of the purchase date of the vehicle.
